Meet Anne

When I was growing up in Watertown, Massachusetts, everybody knew everybody. We went to the same schools and churches and played in each other’s houses and yards. I was the eldest of seven children and the values that mattered most were clear: family and community.

For me, that’s still what matters. After over 18 years as a residential real estate agent, the things I am proudest of are not my biggest deals but the relationships I’ve formed with my co-workers, colleagues, and clients. I measure success by the happiness and comfort of the people I work with, buyers and sellers and other agents, everyone who lends a hand and pulls together to make a transaction go smoothly and well. I know I’ve succeeded when I get an invitation to a client’s daughter’s high school graduation, three years after we sold their home.

I still live in Watertown – in a different house now – with my husband Anthony, who recently retired. Our children are all grown, so we’re empty-nesters, but they’re still in and out of the house all the time. Our daughter, a former professional chef, works as an agent in the Gibson Sotheby’s South End office. We’ve found a home and a supportive community at Gibson, and I think you will too.

Buying or selling a home is the biggest financial transaction most of us will ever do in our lives. It is complicated and time consuming and it can be a bit daunting. But it doesn’t have to be difficult, and it can also be a lot of fun. I love what I do because of the people I work with and their properties. I love the excitement and the opportunities, the sense of discovery, and the satisfaction that comes from helping my clients through such an important transition. Real estate is a team sport. We’re in this together!
